The 4 mile Studland beach is made of Knoll beach, Middle beach, South beach, and Shell bay. The Studland beach is perfect for the family as it has plenty of space, a coffee shop, toilets, and watersports hire. The shallow shores are great for smaller children, water is clear and becomes warm in the summer months. Beautiful sands are perfect for making sandcastles and beach games as well as relaxing in the sun. There also is a very popular Naturist designated area on Knoll beach about 900 meters long where clothing is optional. Studland beach is dog friendly although some restrictions apply during the summer months.
The heathland behind the beach on the other side of the road is perfect for walks and exploring native wildlife and wildflowers on it’s designated trails.
