Barafundle Bay, Pembrokeshire

A stunning unspoiled golden beach backed by cliffs and pine trees is a favorite among locals and admired by visitors. The remote but accessible location, no facilities, and impressive views are what make this beach a great alternative to the most popular nearby beaches.

Located on the south coast of Pembrokeshire between Broadhaven South and Freshwater East, lies beautiful Barafundle Bay. This location might not suit everyone due to a half-mile walk from the nearest car park and access via steps, but those who do visit are awarded with an unspoiled multiple award-winning beach. While the water is quite cold as you would expect from a Welsh beach, it is beautifully clear and blue.
